Quapaw Counseling Services (QCS) is an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) that provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for individuals who have become physically dependent on opioids such as prescription pain medications, heroin, fentanyl, and other opioid substances.

QCS dispenses Methadone and Buprenorphine as part of a comprehensive treatment program. These medications help stabilize the body, reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, and support patients as they engage in counseling and recovery services. Methadone and Buprenorphine are opioid agonist medications that provide a safe and effective method for withdrawing from illicit opioids while helping patients maintain long-term recovery.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral health services to treat opioid use disorder. MAT helps reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, allowing patients to focus on recovery, rebuilding relationships, employment, education, and overall wellness.
